Haven't been here for a while (computer problems--grrrrrr--and family demands, etc) but yesterday I saw this article and immediately thought you would find it interesting. It's too bad that the Church could not see its way straight to sign on.

Thanks. Things are going bad out here in the furthest outposts of the empire. New laws will be decided - with no public debate or insight - that will allow the US/CIA to order Swedish police to act against Swedish citizens even for things that are NOT illegal in Sweden. Blogging about who really did 911 - Dick Cheney - will probably be considered unamerican activities (called "giving ideological support to the terrorists") and the CIA will order their local servants in this protectorate of the empire to break in to peoples homes and stop it. Or at least the law can be used like that. We are not free. We are all slaves. This is the new roman empire. There is nowhere to hide. |

Actually, I don't remember what new law I was reading about when I wrote that. It was something, but I don't recall the details. However, if you read (Swedish) Terror och tystnad : Åsa Linderborg och Erik Wijk om den första svenska terrordomen in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet 2005-08-15 you will note that it is enough that the US decides - no proof needed - that someone "is a terrorist" for that person to get in deep trouble, put in custody or ejected from Sweden. A while back Sweden even exported some people to torture, the US provided the transport, etc.

Martin Lindblom, Svenska Dagbladet 11 april 2002.

FBI friar terrorstämplade - men bannlysningen består.

Aftonbladet 29 september 2005.

Also check out... SOU 2003:74 "Ökad effektivitet och rättssäkerhet i brottsbekämpningen" that will ensure the abolishment of personal integrity and allow the police to secretly enter peoples homes even though they are not suspected of involvement in any criminal activity to place positioning-equipment in their clothes without any ongoing investigation or without any court order. There is also the possibility of kangaroo-court in the Stockholms Tingsrätt where no Swedish judge is allowed to participate and where the Swedish security police SÄPO acts as both prosecutor and judge. To be brought in front of this kangaroo-court, there should be no incriminating evidence and one should normally be of a "non-Swedish" appearance, preferably from some occupied country.
